Important Urgent Financial Meeting all members:

A meeting is required of all members to vote on proposals regarding turfing some greens and curing the problems of waterlogged areas of the course for next season.


In addition the club is required to cast a vote on the Scottish Golf Ltd 's Strategic Plan on the 2nd of December at a Special General Meeting.

Please come to the club on Wednesday evening at 7pm on the 11th of October 2017.

Negotiations are ongoing to update and improve the on course machinery to improve the course and for the job of course maintenace to be less time consuming, hope to have positive news soon. A lot of hard work has been put in to try and make the greens more playable after a dry spell early season inhibited growth. thanks to the efforts of willing (mostly) volunteerrs the greens have been scarified, cored, cut, seeded and fed and should benefit from recent spell of wet weather which should bring benefits next season.

A very warm welcome to more new faces : Doreen Spence; Jackie Houston; Elizabeth MacBride; Ross MacBride; Matty Stevenson and an overseas member Carlo M Campelli.

The clubhouse has hosted a number of successful functions and more are anticipated.


Friday evening nine hole competitions to start 14th April.

The Annual General Meeting for members is on Sunday 5th March at 3pm in the clubhouse. Please submit any items for the agenda before February the 24th. Thankyou


The members present at General Meeting gave unanimous approval for the proposal to maintain green fees at the same level for 2017,

A deposit of £90 required in January and monthly payments option available. preferred method by Direct Debit/Standing Order/Cheque arranged with Treasurer although cash payments can also be made by agreement,


A General Meeting to decide Green Fees for 2017 has been called for Sunday 11th December at 2pm in the clubhouse a good attendance is hoped for to make the necessary decisions. Thank you



All members attending the meeting voted unanimously to go ahead with the refurbishment of some of the greens and create run away ditches for areas that collect excess water.

The vote on The Scottish Golf Strategic plan was undecided because of concern with the minimum payment based on 30 members minimum.
